Then God said:
all these words saying:
I am the Lord your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt, the house of servidão.Não shalt have no other gods before me.
Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image or any likeness of what is in heaven above or below the earth or waters of the underground.
Not bow down thyself to them nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of those who hate me and showing mercy unto thousands of those who love me and keep my commandments.
OUR God abhors IDOLATRY
Então falou DEUS :
todas estas palavras dizendo:
Eu sou o Senhor teu DEUS,que te tirei da terra do Egipto,da casa da servidão.
Não terás outros deuses diante de mim.
Não farás para ti imagens de escultura, nem alguma semelhança do que há em cima do céu, nem em baixo da terra, nem nas águas de baixo da terra.
Não te encurvaras a eles e nem os servirás :
porque eu sou o Senhor teu DEUS, sou zeloso, que visito a maldade dos pais nos filhos, até a terceira e quarta geração, daqueles que me aborrecem, e faço misericordia a milhares daqueles que que me amam e guardam os meus mandamentos .
